In the year 2016, the International Association of Advanced Materials reached new heights and achieved new milestones. Like the previous years, the organization made new advancements in terms of its network globally and its initiatives towards the advancement of materials to global excellence. There were set goals that IAAM had laid out for itself for the year 2016 and it is a matter of extreme delight that they were all achieved. In the year 2016, IAAM organized three international assemblies of its flagship event, the Advanced Materials Congress. These three assemblies proved to be extremely popular and generated a wave of awareness of materials science and technology among people around the world.
By organizing these three international conferences in the year, IAAM reached newer levels and heights in its agenda of facilitating a global forum where researchers and scientists of the materials science community can come together and engage in discussion. These conferences created the perfect setting for the leaders of the global materials science community to discuss the latest developments and progresses in the sector. The different themes and agendas of the congresses also proved to be highly beneficial for the advancement of materials to global excellence.
International Association of Advanced Materials organized the International Conference on Materials Science and Technology from 01-04 March 2016 in India. The conference was a four-day international event that was organized in collaboration with the University of Delhi, India. The primary aim of the event was to provide a global platform for high-tech materials and their manufacturing activities in India. The invited talks, oral presentations, and poster sessions that were organized in the conference allowed the delegates from all over the world to discuss their novel ideas fact to face with the international subject matter experts. The conference was an appropriate amalgamation of different interdisciplinary fields such as: Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, Biomaterials and Biodevices, Energy and Harvesting Materials, Structural Materials, Optical, Electronic, and Magnetic Materials, Computational Materials, Constructional and Engineering Materials, Environmental and Green Materials, and Composite and Engineering Materials.
European Advanced Materials Congress was organized from 23 to 25 August, 2016 in Sweden. International Association of Advanced Materials organized this three-day international event with a goal to facilitate a global forum for researchers and engineers from both academia and industry to present their research results and activities in the interdisciplinary field of materials science and technology. The congress presented a complete amalgamation of different subject areas and topics such as: Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, Biomaterials and Biodevices, Energy and Harvesting Materials, Optical, Electronic, and Magnetic Materials, Structural Materials, Computational Materials, Composite and Ceramic Materials, Constructional and Engineering Materials, Environmental and Green Materials, etc.
Besides the high number of invited lectures, plenary talks, and oral talks and presentations, International Association of Advanced Materials also organized four parallel symposiums during this conference:
These symposiums proved to be highly beneficial as they provided a setting for experts of these areas to come together and discuss the recent developments and the path for future.
IAAM organized the American Advanced Materials Congress from 04 to 09 December, 2016 in USA. This six-day long international event was organized with the aim to give an impetus to the growth and development of the materials science community operating in the American continent. Besides this, the congress created the perfect setting for scientists and researchers from around the world to come together and indulge in highly intensive discussions.
There were several symposiums that ran parallel the primary program of the congress. These symposiums were:
As a whole, the IAAM touched newer heights in the year 2016 and laid the foundation for a brighter future.
