IAAM Conferences in the Year 2017

The year 2017 proved to be a stepping stone for the International Association of Advanced Materials. The organization made tremendous progress and went on to flourish exceedingly more than the past few years. In terms of goals and agendas, IAAM, as an organization, outreached all its set targets and went on to organize as many as 4 international assemblies of its flagship event, Advanced Materials Congress. These conferences were organized in the continents of Asia and Europe and were attended by as many as 2500 scientists, researchers, students, professionals, business executives, and much more from around 100 countries of the world.

The primary aim behind organizing these interdisciplinary international conferences was to create a forum where scientists, researchers, and scientific elites from all over the world could come together and initiate discussions regarding the latest and the most recent developments in the field of materials science, engineering, and technology.

International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (ICNANO)

IAAM organized the International Conference on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (ICNANO) from 01 to 03 March 2017. This three-day international conference was organized by IAAM in order to provide a global platform for high-tech materials and their manufacturing activities, especially in India. The conference was attended by researchers, students, professionals, and business executives from approximately 50 countries of the world. These researchers, scientists, and professionals, who came from both academia and industries, got a chance to interact and discuss the recent developments of the sector. The event proved to be a huge success and witnessed a good number of presentations and lectures.

Asian Advanced Materials Congress (ASAMC)

Asian Advanced Materials Congress was organized from 11 to 16 March 2017. The six-day international event was aimed at developing and expanding the knowledge and awareness of advanced materials and related fields among in the materials science community of Asia. The congress was graced with participation from as many as 40 countries from across the world. The assembly provided a global platform for the scientific elites from around the world to indulge in discussions with their counterparts from the Asian continent. The conference provided the perfect setting for the scientific community to explore the current advancement in the field of materials science, engineering, and technology.

As part of the Asian Advanced Materials Congress, IAAM also organized the Asian Graphene Forum. The forum was organized with an aim to provide the perfect setting for discussions, presentations, and much more around the rapidly developing subject area of Graphene. The Graphene Forum was attended by some brilliant minds and yielded some really important results. In addition to this, IAAM also constituted a Biosensors and Bioelectronics Symposium which allowed for the attendants of the conference to discuss the important and highly consequential area of Biosensors and Bioelectronics. The symposium witnessed high-quality discussions and generated a wide range of important results.

European Advanced Materials Congress (EAMC)

The European Advanced Materials Congress was organized by the International Association of Advanced Materials during 22-24 August 2017 in Sweden. The international conference provided a platform for researchers and engineers coming from academia and industry to indulge in discussions and present their results in the interdisciplinary field of materials science and technology. The congress was a truly interdisciplinary experience as it covered a lot of areas such as: Composite and Ceramic Materials, Energy and Harvesting Materials, Computational Materials, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, Structural Materials, Constructional and Engineering Materials, Optical, Electronic, and Magnetic Materials, Environmental and Green Materials, and many more. The assembly was attended by delegates from as many as 92 countries from all over the world and proved to be a great success.

Baltic Conference Series (BCS)

In the year 2017, IAAM organized the first ever Baltic Conference Series in Sweden. The event was organized from 08 to 11 October 2017 and was targeted at creating a forum for the discussion of recent trends of advancement of nanomaterials and nanotechnology along with several other interdisciplinary fields. The international platform created opportunities for researchers around the world to indulge in global networking and to meet and interact with other leading researchers, scientists from different parts of the world. The conference created a comprehensive forum and helped showcase the latest trends in translational research, innovations, and technology across a wide range of sectors.

Overall, the year 2017 proved to be a highly productive one for the International Association of Advanced Materials.
