Call for Symposium Proposals

International Association of Advanced Materials, IAAM invites symposium proposals for upcoming assembly of IAAM Congress during 2019 – 2020. Association welcomes interdisciplinary thematic topics having connections with the 'Advancement of Materials to Global Excellence'. The symposium includes about 08 - 10 sessions and each session may schedule for 02 - 03 hours. 

How to Prepare IAAM Symposium Proposal?  

All symposium organizers, whether based in Europe or elsewhere, must be willing to attend the congress. The symposium organizer should be named in the proposal and he/she is not permitted to be as the main organizer of two successive symposia on the same topic. A co-organiser maybe the main organizer of the next symposium devoted to the same topic. Symposium organizer(s) must consider the budgetary implications of their proposal as they have to demonstrate that the event will be viable and income and expenditure will balance. Session(s) of Symposium consists of the following category of speakers:

  • Keynote: Speaker has 30 minutes for their presentation. With approximately 25 minutes given for the presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Invited: Speaker has 20 minutes for their presentation. With approximately 17 minutes given for the presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Oral: Speaker has 15 minutes for their presentation. With approximately 12 minutes given for the presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers.

Poster sessions can be proposed in the symposium. The minimum number of posters should be 25 on display. The E-posters may also possible to invite.

How to Submit a Symposium Proposal?

The symposium proposals are encouraged to address the theme such as scientific research, translational research & innovations, and technology for the market. The complete proposal submits with CV(s) of organizer(s) by email to contact@iaamonline.org

Proposals listing more than 25 confirmed speakers will only be considered. The symposia/congress will run only in English. 

IAAM Financial Contribution 

IAAM will provide the necessary financial resources for the organization of a symposium on the following basis:

  • Symposium Level A: 200-300 paid registration: 12000 Euro will be allocated.
  • Symposium Level B: 125-200 paid registration: 8000 Euro will be allocated.
  • Symposium Level C: 75-125 paid registration: 5000 Euro will be allocated.
  • Symposium Level D: 50-75 paid registration: 3000 Euro will be allocated.

The IAAM contribution may use for the following category of expenditures:

Supporting registration fee, travel, and accommodation for symposium organizer, scientific committee members, speakers, and students.

General Instructions for IAAM Symposium Organizer(s)

  • Symposium organizers must be present throughout the conference.
  • Symposium organizers must attend the felicitation and awards ceremony of IAAM.
  • More than one oral presentation/talk by one group on one research topic is not allowed.
  • Symposium organizers should ensure high quality of scientific contents in the programme.
